There's always a first time for everything

I don't know what I'm going to be saying in these posts, as I don't have much to say these days that's of general interest, and I don't know if I want to expose my lack of knowledge about whatever specific things (rocketry, photography, computers, politics) I think I have expert knowledge of. 

I don't do a whole lot of social networking, though I am on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.  I am still sorting out the usefulness of each of these.  Facebook and LinkedIn have allowed me to get back in touch (however briefly) with people I knew years back, and has even given me insight into their lives that I didn't have when I had more face-to-face contact with them. 

Check back every once in awhile to see what I've decided.

I am a writer and sometimes I also feel like that I have nothing to say; but surprisingly I always seem to write more than I thought I would.

Though you don't know what to write about but you have a very nice style of writing. Besides, I admire the design of your website. I'm just creating my own and I can't make a decision about the design. I found a nice book with lots of examples (at the pdf search engine http://pdf.rapid4me.com ) but still can't make up my mind. And your site is like a fairy tale. The choice is amazing. Hope I'll have as nice as you have.

Re the 7yr old kid that is supposed to have been eating like a pig? I don't know all the intimate details, but $17,000 dollars for a settlement??? I agree with you Roy an apoligy would have been adaquate, I would like to know if HRT group contacted the school see if they could afford it? What criteria did they use to come up with that amount? This may now mean a cut in 1/4 or 1/2 staffing of a support person or teacher. I would like to go further and suugest that the child and their parents seeing that they are new commers in our land take a short course Canadian public eating ettique.

I would urge everyone to read "SHAKE DOWN" by Ezra Levant who also had an unfortunate experience with the HRT group. According to Ezra The HTR group is undermining Democracy in the name of Human Rights.
